Church Life: January-April, 2026
Church Life is active at Together Church. There’s no way we could recap it all, but here are a few highlights from January 1 through April…
- April was IMPACT Month
- 4 speakers presented the gospel
- Clear invitations were given to follow Jesus / be baptized
- 15 baptisms
- 6 weeks of baptisms in a row!
- Several new connections with our church
- We celebrated 40 years of partnership with Reaching Souls International and over 140 million souls won for Christ.
- RSI Sunday was March 29
- We are the largest contributing church in RSI history
- Our church has sent the most volunteers in their history
- We hosted Hope Is Alive Sunday and celebrated gospel partnership ministering to addicts & families
- HIA Sunday was April 12
- We visited the HIA sober living homes in South OKC twice
- We provided a meal for residents each time
- A team of men went to share group / storying with the men
- Several people from the OKC South homes have connected with our church
- Jay McFadden from Bill Glass Behind the Walls spoke at Together Church
- Doug Miller is working with this ministry
- Our church is making plans to go to a jail / prison to share the gospel together
- We completed 6 consecutive months of ministry at Hope Pregnancy Center
- Ministering to families in crisis
- Sharing the gospel
- Providing meals and making connections with new / growing believers
- We had four men (Gideons) go on multiple Bible distributions
- Lance Perkins, Layne Rowley, Greg Werner, and Phil Apple are Gideons
- They went out multiple times and distributed over 2500 New Testaments
- We finished a few sermon series
- We studied through Philippians
- Shared the gospel through Beyond Change
- Started the New Year with What’s My Purpose?
- We are starting Colossians in May
- We hosted a three-week intensive for young adults at Movement on hermeneutics
- We ministered to the homeless in our area by providing packets with food and water and recommending resources we support like…
- From the Hood to the Cross (shares the gospel while providing showers and meals)
- Hope Pregnancy (helps families in crisis)
- Hope Is Alive (addiction recovery)
- Pastor Brandon took a mission trip to Canada with the RDN
- Led a DiscipleShift at a church in Owen Sound
- Shared the gospel with a man from India on the plane (never heard the gospel)
- We welcomed back people in our church who went on mission trips independently
- Celebrating salvation decisions!
- We started planning a trip for people in our church to go to Colombia
- Our students in The FOUR12 gathered for DiscipleNow
- An overnight discipleship training
- Several leaders hosted and led
- We hosted six school clubs every week for elementary, middle, and high schools
- Clubs help Christian students reach friends for Jesus
- The gospel was shared regularly
- We saw salvation decisions at clubs
- A team went to a LifeWise banquet
- LifeWise clubs help churches teach the Bible and share the gospel with elementary students
- We are looking to start a LifeWise club (hopeful Spring, 2027)
- We gathered for a cleaning day to make the TC Kids area look awesome
- We rallied to an UCO men’s basketball game to support Coach (Pastor) Wells and the team
- 10% of every dollar given to our budget was given
- Local AND global missions and ministries (8%)
- Benevolent giving to meet needs (2%)
- We went to the homes of 10 widows on the Widows Workday
- Provided lawn care for spring
- Met several other needs
- Nearly 100 volunteers participated
- Deacon led
- We hosted a training to develop small group apprentices

- We gathered our group leaders at a cookout

- We provided free biblical counseling for marriage, parenting, and a host of other subjects
- Our elders gathered to pray for someone in our church who requested prayer for healing.
- We launched live translations of our services into Spanish (using AI)
- Our team met to work on a scope of work and estimate for Project 100
- A plan for the next phase of updates to our campus for ministry
- 20 small groups met every week for disciple-making and to reach the lost
- They invited to IMPACT Month
- They celebrated baptisms in their groups
- They loved one another and met needs
- They faithfully gathered
- Groups rallied to meet physical needs
- Helped people move
- Hosted showers
- Provided Meal Trains
- Served people in need
- We welcomed new babies born in our church
- We attended funerals and made hospital visits
- We hosted Vision Night where we reestablished our primary vision and shared supporting visions
- We posted several new Podcast episodes and shorts
- Registrations launched for summer camps
- Nearly 300 attended service on Easter Sunday
- We facilitated “Good Friday at Home” due to weather
- We welcomed new members to our church
- We gave generously so that we are on track this year for the general budget (our general budget makes all these celebrations possible)
- We posted a 2025 Year End Review
And these are just some of the ones we know about and could recall… all done by a church with about 200 people attending on average each weekend!
When we say “we”, we don’t mean the staff… church is a team sport! These things were only possible because of the many gospel partners working together in the body of Christ!

Our Church Life is blessed with genuine followers of Jesus who are active in their faith, working as gospel partners, supporting works of ministry in our city and beyond, and living out the call of Jesus to make disciples.
